About Us

Aerial Gymnastics York is a dedicated youth training centre based at Studio Cloud Nine. We specialise in teaching young people aged 6-17, across a range of exciting aerial disciplines - including silks, hoop, trapeze, hammock & bungee.

Zoe & Dmytro together bring over 7 years teaching experience, creating classes that are both safe and structured, yet filled with creativity & fun. Every session is designed to help students build, strength, flexibility and self confidence while progressing at their own pace. We're proud of the supportive and inclusive community we have built, where beginners feel welcome and ambitious students are encouraged to dream big! Majority of our young people come for enjoyment and fitness, whilst others are already heading towards the path of a professional career - including one of our students who recently secured a place at the National Centre For Circus Arts in London.

Mission

Our mission is to share our love and passion for Aerial with young people in our community. We believe that aerial is more than just a form of fitness, or a hobby - it is a powerful way to build confidence & resilience. We want every child to feel encouraged through our teaching to try new things, offering a safe space for self-expression and personal growth. We are committed to nurturing young people, helping them discover their potential, and inspiring them to soar - both in the air and in everyday life.

Vision

Our vision is to keep raising the bar, both in studio and onstage. With 5 years of professional performance experience and 7 years of teaching expertise, we are dedicated to expanding our knowledge, developing our classes, and inspiring the next generation.

Over the past 3 years we have been involved with 'Attitude dance clubs' yearly show, staging one spectacular aerial number at the Grand Opera House which has inspired many of our older students to follow a career in Aerial arts.

Looking ahead we are excited to continue growing, broadening opportunities for our students, and sharing the magic of aerial, we have some exciting ideas in the pipeline we hope to share with you soon.
